Sistah: I frequently visit my family in Sydney, where they have lived for years. I am a creative writer and storyteller with a vivid imagination. One day while freaking out over a skink, my daughter suggested I write a blog about my Australian experiences, which gave birth to "A Sistah in Oz!" It highlights my unforgettable and often hilarious experiences through stories about the remarkable people, places, and things in and around Australia, aka Oz. Why Oz? Aus is short for Aussie and is pronounced OZ in the Australian accent. While I know Australia is down under, it's over the rainbow in my stories where "A Sistah in Oz" calls attention to the differences between Sydney and Dorothy's Kansas!
